Leif Haraldseth

Leif Haraldseth (born 30 November 1929 in Drammen) is a Norwegian trade unionist and politician for the Labour Party.

He served as secretary and then vice chairman of the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions in the periods 1969–1977 and 1977–1987 respectively, both times replacing Odd Højdahl. He then headed the organization from 1987 to 1989.

In 1986–1987 he was the Minister of Local Government Affairs in the second cabinet Brundtland. His career in politics ended with the post of County Governor of Buskerud, which he held from 1989 to 1999.
