Leichhardt Falls are waterfalls found on the Leichhardt River, approximately 50 kilometres upstream from the point where the river discharges into the Gulf of Carpentaria, in Queensland, Australia. Like the river, the falls are named for Ludwig Leichhardt. The falls are not renowned for their height, but for their stepped nature and their breadth.
