[edit] Questionable Entry

On 20 Dec 2004, user 12.166.43.114 made the following addition to this article:

"When signing over checks or making out checks to the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society be sure you write the payee as "Watch Tower", two words. "

[edit] deleted large block of slanted text

The same IP that made the edit to the main JW page made the following edit to this page. This edit was longer and appeared to be even more slanted / confrontational / accusational than the other; though to be fair I haven't given either anything more than a cursory reading. I'll leave the slab here for discussion though, and hope that I'm doing something similar to "The Right Thing" :) Thanks!

The Watchtower

This reminds me of "cud chewing", but so be it ;)

[edit] Seperate article for "International Bible Students Association"

I created a seperate article for International Bible Students Association because it was relevant to the Bible Students page, and the redirect made things a bit clumsy (not to mention that I feel it gives everything a bit of a conpiracy theory feel ...) Flammifer 09:21, 22 July 2005 (UTC)

I now did the same for the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. I wonder if the same should be done for the WTBTS, NY, Inc. ? Maybe they should both be put on the same page ?

Anyway, this page could take some reworking, major sections aren't as needed once the content has been moved to other pages. Flammifer 06:17, 23 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Minor Edits

I don't believe the phrase "The Watchtower is now distributed in exchange of donations." is factually accurate; any donations are voluntary and are not even socially enforced. I would like to get a little feedback on this before I do a little cleanup. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 167.93.112.168 (talk) 20:27, 26 February 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Pennsylvania entity?

Shouldn't there be a separate subhead and paragraph on "Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania", with an explanation of the differences between it and the "Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York"? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 157.130.67.110 (talk) 20:23, 25 April 2007 (UTC).

[edit] AfD

This article has been nominated for deletion because of its directory like nature, I've trimmed it of excessive details i.e. contact information to try and rectify this and amalgamated information into paragraphs so that this article is more of an article and less of a directory. However with no knowledge of the article this is all I can only do. The article stands a better chance of surviving if those paragraphs can be expanded (not with contact details) why do the Witnesses need so many corporations, what exactly do they do, do they operate independently in their jurdistions or do they answer to a central committee etc.KTo288 12:58, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
