"Due to the very long half-life of M1 (approx. 2 weeks), a loading dose of 100 mg for 3 days was used in clinical studies to reach steady-state levels of M1 quickly." It may be nit-picking (or not even right!) but a I think a loading dose speeds up the time to the therapeutic range rather than speeds up time to steady state - which is always 4-5 half lives.
