[edit] License tagging for Image:ICAM0034.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:ICAM0034.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

- In case this makes it clearer: Wikipedia only allows material that can be provided as part of a service, in commercial products and so on - exactly the sort of things that Google doesn't allow. Putting something on Wikipedia definitely doesn't qualify as personal use. JPD (talk) 14:37, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
Im sorry that was an embarrassing typo, it’s the subconscious mind, sorry. It is clearly my fault, im sorry, really. I was under a bit of a misconception that’s all your right; I couldn’t admit defeat, thank you. I apologise for the comment.

[edit] Image tagging
You appear to have uploaded a whole batch of images and tagged them all as {{PD-self}}. They appear to be screenshots of some software (I'm guessing Microsoft Train Simulator, which aren't usually eligible for PD, as someone owns the copyright on the material depicted (right of panorama doesn't extend to this). Please take a look at them, and try to provide enough source information that the image might be more appropriately tagged. In particular, screenshots usually fall under fair use, which requires that the images are only used to illustrate the thing that they are a screenshot of, not whatever the screenshot may be showing (so, in this case, they can be used in articles on MSTS, but not in the articles of whatever locomotive is leading the train). [edit] Notability of Huntingdon Bomber
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Huntingdon Bomber, by Nummer29 (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Huntingdon Bomber seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Huntingdon Bomber, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Huntingdon Bomber itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 09:34, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
