[edit] Editing Star Trek Episodes

Anyone else doing it? Just wondering... Ledzeppelin19 04:01, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

I've occasionally been cleaning up some of the episode pages. I would recommend trying to find supporting references for the articles to help avoid problems with WP:EPISODE and episode notability. For example, I tried to do as much as I could with Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy when it was nominated for deletion. I realize the same amount of external references might be difficult to find for other episodes though. Look at the Simpson's episode "Cape Feare" for another example of what a good episode article should look like. -- Bovineone (talk) 16:38, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Camino icon.png

Image:Camino icon.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 18:47, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Pawn Game, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because it is an article about a certain website, blog, forum, or other web content that does not assert the importance or significance of that web location. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles, as well as notability guidelines for websites. Please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on Talk:Pawn Game. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Thanks. Chunky Rice 14:14, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Little context in The Gray Race Tour

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on The Gray Race Tour, by Huntster (talk ยท contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because The Gray Race Tour is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting The Gray Race Tour, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 10:39, 13 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ordinal dates

I've noticed that you frequently put ordinal suffixes (ie: "4th" or "3rd" or "2nd" or "1st") on the day when writing dates. According to the Manual of style, that practice should not be done. It interferes with the localization of date formats based on the user preferences set by each user. -- Bovineone (talk) 04:08, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

My bad, I assume that November 22, 2007. is the correct format. I will begin to do that. Sorry =) Ledzeppelin19 (talk) 13:14, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
yep, that's right (November 22, 2007), but with wikilinks so that the auto-localization will work. -- Bovineone (talk) 16:31, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
