From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Leduc Public Library (LPL) is a publicly-funded library institution in the city of Leduc, Alberta, Canada. Memberships are available free to citizens of Leduc and rural citizens of Leduc County.

The library's collection contains over 54,000 items. The library is a member of Yellowhead Regional Library (YRL) and the Regional Automation Consortium (TRAC). Patrons have access to about 15 million items in over 230 Alberta libraries through our participation in The Alberta Library.

In keeping with the spirit of barrier-free access to information, the Leduc Public Library removed charges for membership fees for citizens of Leduc and rural residents of Leduc County in September 2005.
