[edit] Music career

Disillusioned by the state of rock music, Lec decided in 1995 to make an album in the '80s melodic rock style that he loved and missed. He spent the next 11 years saving up money to fund the album, writing songs, recruiting musicians and recording. The resulting album, It Began in the Underground, is scheduled for released in late 2006/early 2007 under the name The Lec Zorn Project.

Joining Lec on the album are Eli Hludzik, Mike Walsh Tracy White, Eric Ragno, Michael Riesenbeck, Lars Säfsund, Ivan Arnold, Phil Vincent, Tommy Denander, Pierre Wensberg and Chris Demming. The presence of such well established musicians generated the album an unusually high amount of pre-release publicity for an artist's debut album.

Prior to the released on the album, Lec's songs appeared on samplers with such stars as Neal Schon of Journey, Vivian Campbell of Def Leppard, Matt Sorum of Guns N' Roses, Jim Peterik of Survivor and Mike Tramp of White Lion.

[edit] Movie involvement

Lec's music is featured in the movie Downhill and is also scheduled to be featured in the upcoming movies All the Wrong Moves and The Twin Trilogy. In addition, Lec makes is movie acting debut in the upcoming mystery Trail of Crumbs.
