[edit] Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Newcomers help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I noticed you are known only as an IP address; that means you are not signed up. To sign up, you only need to click Create account and choose a username and password. You don't need to provide any personal information. If you sign up, you'll have a username that others can use to recognize you and leave you messages on the wiki. You'll be able to sign your name just by typing four tildes (~~~~) when you leave someone else a message. Plus, you (and others) will easily be able to see a list of all your contributions to Wikipedia.

If you have any questions, see the help pages, ask at the Village pump, or feel free to ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!Bakaman Bakatalk 23:13, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] accusations

Please do not remove content from Wikipedia; it is considered vandalism. If you want to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --Gurubrahma 14:16, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

True it is considered vandalism, but critical and conspiring content should be removed from the mainstream content. If that were to be the case, we might also add Jack T. Chick's claims upon other religions, that catholicism is continuation of babylonian religion, or prophet mohammed was actually sent by the catholic church. Conspiracies, no matter what, should be kept away from mainstream content. As for scrapping empty sections, well... they were empty :s

[edit] Manu Smriti and User:Yeditor

HI. I noticed that you have spent a lot of time and effort in the ManuSmriti article and Yeditor has tried to sabotage your efforts. I hope that the article is in your watchlist so that you may fix any vandalism by him (I have tried to fix his most recent POV, but you are more knowledgeable in scripture and so would be a better candidate). Thank you very much.Hkelkar 20:50, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
You're welcome. Could you please put the article in your watchlist (if you haven;t done so already)? That way, you'll know if there have been any changes made.Hkelkar 06:27, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Another Manu Smriti issue

A new user User:Indiegirl contends a statement in the article. Might need your help in the talk page here.Hkelkar 16:22, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary. Thanks, and happy editing.
.Also don't insert your comment in between others.Inserting comment before someone's signature is considered tampering with others' comment and may be treated as Vandalism too as you have done here.I also recommend you to sign your comments with 4 tides .Thanks  HW  13:31, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] you can help

May be, you can help in expanding and finding better references for this article Atheism in Hinduism. Thanks.nids(♂) 21:14, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Some perspective

Perhaps you'd like to take a quick peek at Kambojas and Manusmriti and verify that the information is accurate.Hkelkar 01:05, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Ashwamedha

I saw ur posts on Talk:Ashwamedha and perhaps you shuld contribute to the article. The main people there are User:Paul Barlow and User:Dbachmann who, I believe, are trying to portray Hindus in a negative light based on their own biases, trying to portray us as zoophiles to provoke disgust against Hindus. They self-translate the Rigveda to justify this. If you have more knowledge on this topic then please contribute to the article and Talk:Ashwamedha. Rumpelstiltskin223 12:05, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Books and papers

We need books and papers to back up the points made in Ashwamedha. Just saying things will not be sufficient. Could you suggest some research material concerning proper interpretation of Ashwamedha? Rumpelstiltskin223 17:04, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Manu Smriti

Hello. I would like to alert you to changes made by a certain cabal of users to Manu Smriti that seem biased and meant to propagandistically skew the article against Hindus. Perhaps you could take a look [1]. Applytook 11:36, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
