Template talk:Leaders of the Liberal Democrats

I think this is a good template, but I'm concerned about the grouping. While there's a lineal succession from the old Liberal Party to the present Liberal Democrats, it seems weird for a template to loudly proclaim "Liberal Democrat" on Palmerston's page. • It does seem a little strange. Perhaps changing the top banner to "Leaders of the Liberals and Liberal Democrats" would be better. If that still doesn’t feel right then maybe it should be split into two templates, "Liberal Leaders" and "Liberal Democrat Leader". Either option needs further discussion.   • I think the latter option might be better—treating the Liberal Democrats as a separate entity from the Liberal Party. Mackensen (talk) 16:41, 26 January 2006 (UTC)
