[edit] Linking dates
Linking dates allow the user to see dates in his/her preferred format, whether it be "Month Day, Year", "Day Month Year", or something else. I admit that there's no actual encyclopedic value to linking the dates, but it can make Wikipedia as a whole look more consistent.
