Talk:Leaf beetle
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Just a heads-up; given that there are so many genera, the approach of trying to list all of them on one page is simply NOT going to be practical. This family needs to be subdivided pretty finely (often to tribes) before one can start putting generic lists. The present page also does not reflect the last 15 years' worth of changes to the classification, and bears little resemblance to what coleopterists are using today, so that's also going to need to be changed. I'll try to get to this fairly soon. Dyanega 16:20, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
- I started moving the genera over to subfamily pages. I'm not a layout person, so I have no idea why the section looks so ugly now.--Hatch68 23:07, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] tarsal formula
- "Leaf beetles are recognizable by their tarsal formula"
This isn't very helpful... What is their tarsal formula?
I think this article could do with a bit more text (description, etc.). IronChris | (talk) 23:21, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
