[edit] Curb Your Enthusiasm

Best keep the article objective by leaving out the rants of a CYE fan... Thanks anyway... Some similarities that come to straight to mind though include;

- documentary style comedy following a successful, rich comedian around focusing on his everyday activities. Ricky Gervais has admitted to being strongly influenced by larry david for his docu-style comedies but at least had the talent to put his own spin on it!

- Manager who doubles up as freind

- The way his partner looks at him while he rambles on neurotically about nothing

- the quirky jewish style segway music

Thanks for those points. Is Marty Rick's manager? (I've got to get me some of that segway music.)

Thanks, 82.45.221.159. Do you have a cite for the interview where Jack mentions the office? And it's Larry David, not Davis.

I see your point, Dtcdthingy. I was very reluctant to write this section myself and I left it with an expand tag for a month before someone attempted it, and then I tried to fix what they wrote. Unfortunately, the comparison with CYE is a question that must be addressed somehow, as it's the main talking point in almost all discussions of LB. As to sources, the primary sources are the programmes themselves. Do you have any better suggestions as to how we should deal with this?

anyone noticed that Dee's has taken all his mannerisms from Gervais's Brent. He was not like that before the office. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.99.192.138 (talk) 21:39, 15 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] GA fail

I've quick-failed the article's GA nomination since the first image lacks a fair-use rationale, and both lack source information. Please address these issues before renominating the article. Drewcifer3000 20:20, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

The second image (Image:Rick Spleen and CSO.jpg) has had source information since it was uploaded. The first now has a full summary and rationale, so I shall renominate the article. Brad 20:53, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
