[edit] Seven Sisters
The line to Seven Sisters does not run along the river lea, and so it cannot count as being on the river lea.
- For the good of us all, don't go near the East Coast or West Coast Main Line articles. --Dtcdthingy 14:07, 25 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Map
The map looks rather scary!! Can we try and split it up into manageable sections?? As a starter for ten, how about splitting the Chingford Branch off? Its just a suggestion, nothing is set in concrete ... am I wrong for even opening my mouth. Listen up, I apologise for even daring to think that the map is anything less than perfection. I sincerely apologise for even placing a message on this page. Can I change it back??? Canterberry 22:33, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
- There's nothing wrong with changing things, I just don't think hacking off the branch is an improvement. I've saved your branch line map below. It could possibly incorporated into this article. --82.45.163.4 06:44, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

- I have removed the "mapneeded=yes" from the TWP tag. Canterberry 22:53, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Chingford Branch Line
This is a separate article, which is going to get expanded. Please do not re-direct to this page.Canterberry 16:46, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- I agree. The line has its own history and character, and as such it warrants a separate article. The map of the Lea Valley is terrible (in my honest opinion). It is too stretched out, and working out which station is on which route is very difficult. The map should be split into three sections, of which this page can act as the main holding page: The Chingford Branch Line, the Lea Valley Line and the Southbury Loop Line.Sheepcot 18:24, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Gospel Oak Line
The map needs amending. Both the main line along the Lea Valley and the route via Seven Sisters has junctions with the line to Gospel Oak. Canterberry 17:37, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- Hmmm ... it is difficult to show this ... I accept that this is almost impossible to show without spoiling the map. Canterberry 22:41, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Clapton/Coppermill
The map is incorrect in showing that the line from Stratford allows you to go directly to Chingford. Canterberry 17:37, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
- I have amended this "silly" error by an un-registered editor. Canterberry 22:17, 26 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Queens Road station
The route map shows a closed Queens Road station between Hackney Downs and Clapton. I cannot find any maps which show another station between these two, nor is there a road by that name (there is a Queensdown Road). What is the source for this?--DavidCane 10:43, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
- Brown, Joe (2006). London Railway Atlas. ISBN 978-0-7110-3137-1. Canterberry 21:59, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
Where exactly was it through? It might be an idea to make an article about the station, seeing as most closed London station now have their own pages. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lord Cornwallis (talk • contribs)
- I have a copy of that book. It says "Platforms built 1872 but did not open" and is shown as in the open between two long tunnels, so it'd be in the area north of Queensdown Road. --Mr Thant (talk) 18:57, 15 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Extent
Shouldn't the Lea Valley Lines map extend all the way to the end of the Hertford East branch? Simply south 07:32, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Junctions
Please stop trying to turn these route diagrams into track maps - you end up with a horrible mess that serves neither purpose. I'm going to remove a whole load of junk from this one. --82.45.163.4 13:07, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
- As you will surely find out, it would be better to engage in debate about radical changes, lest you want you hard efforts reverted.Canterberry 13:45, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] BS7-2 Diagram
I've put in a BS7-2 diagram which moves some of the station names, etc., to the left. Anyone is welcome to improve it: I know that the placings of the mileages is less than ideal, for example. South Tottenham is also more diagrammatic than it could be but BS7-2 is at least now able to show it. Thoughts? Britmax (talk) 14:03, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
