Leander J. Talbott

Leander J. Talbott (1849-1924) was Mayor of Kansas City, Missouri in 1884.

He was born in Ohio and moved to Kansas City in 1857. As mayor he is said to have ridden the first overhead electric interurban in the world [1] (established by J. C. Henry with the Westport Electric Railway in Kansas City)[2]

He died in an automobile accident.
