Lea Road railway station was on the Preston and Wyre Joint Railway in the parish of Lea and Cottam in Preston, Lancashire. It opened soon after the line opened in 1840, and closed on 2 May 1938 (Biddle, p.56; Welch, p.23).
No obvious remains of the station exist; a wasteground and The Cotty Brook public house are to one side, and a private housing development is on the other. The former entrances can be identified through the different style bricks used to stop-up the tunnels adjacent to the footpath.
Lea is pronounced "Leah" (IPA: /lɪə/).
