Description

Photograph of 15 men, all believed to be entirely Harvard Law Students, outside Austin Hall in Harvard Law School. Learned Hand is seated in the front row, second from right. He would later go on to be chief justice of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He is considered by many as the most influential judge not to have served in the United States Supreme Court.
