My name is perhaps the most overused girl's name in the world, but feel free to use it if you so desire. I'm glad you stopped by my poor little user page.

I keep all of my other userboxes on my old account. If you want to find out more, particularly frivolous information, please patronize that page.

[edit] My Interests

In my spare time here in Michigan, I sing, act, debate, play tennis, swim, travel, read, and write my own stories and poetry. I've had a couple of pieces published in various magazines and anthologies.

I have done extensive research into European history, especially that of British monarchs, Marie Antoinette, Eleanor of Aquitaine, and the last Romanovs; in addition, I have, like so many others, studied the ancient Byzantine, Roman, Greek, Chinese, and Indian civilisations. I dabble in government studies when I can. I currently follow the news of the royals of Europe; my favourites include HRH Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, HRH The Princess of Asturias, and the royal families of Luxembourg and Monaco. I also have done in-depth studies into Howard Hughes and the Amish. I speak French at a communicable level, and am advancing my studies in that language every day.

[edit] My Goals

As a Wikipedia user, I hope to fix grammar and spelling mistakes wherever I see them, so that it might aid in ease of readability; fix factual errors where I can detect them, thereby adding to the credibility and factuality of the article; remove vandalism and bias where it seems necessary; and perform a variety of clean-up work to make articles look neat and tidy.

Some day, I would like to learn code; my boyfriend has challenged me to do so. I don't forsee that happening any time soon, even though I seem to be spending a good amount of time with self-proclaimed geeks as of late (I mean this only affectionately; I am rather fond of them). Any volunteers, though...

I am one of the most spelling/grammar/punctuation obsessed people you are likely to meet, so just let me know of a page where I can perform my magic. I am also seeking projects to which I can devote myself, in order to meet the goals listed above.

In my personal life, I one day wish to become involved in journalism, politics, a combination of the two, or biology, with an emphasis on genetics. I would like to attend Amherst, Williams, Wellesley, or Oxford upon my high school graduation.

[edit] About Me

I am a person of varied interests, as one can easily see by my userpage. I like to keep a certain air of mystery, so I will tell you only this: I am between the ages of thirteen and nineteen, I attend public school, and there is one person I love above all others.

I finally figured out how to tab my userboxes over to the right side. That was one of the crowning achievements of my life.

And, if I may say so very colloquially, my userpage "owns" this one.
