I moved to the page [to Le Bebete Show]. See http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Ericd Taku 20:39 Jan 2, 2003 (UTC)

I moved the page back to Le Bébête Show. The policy is to keep the accents in the title, as Brion wrote on Ericd's talk page ("Le Bébête Show" is a French title so english spelling does not apply, IMO):

The general policy is to use the accepted English spelling where there is one. Where there isn't, I heartily recommend using the original spelling with accents (or closest approximation; we're limited to Latin-1 so many non-Western European accents need to be dropped, and non-Latin writing systems should be transliterated of course!), but acceptable variants may be provided as redirects (for German umlauts -> letter+e; for French, dropped accents). --Brion

I am sorry. I didn't read thoroughtly. I had thought Latin-1 means so called 7 bit ascii and so we should drop accents too. Maybe we should add that agreement to Wikipedia:Naming conventions (anglicization) -- Taku 00:25 Jan 3, 2003 (UTC)

I think it's better to keep Le Bébête Show. By the way I have a problem with japanese characters ;-). Ericd

What do you mean? Look weird? (haha) Taku 01:14 Jan 3, 2003 (UTC)

No simply my browser doesn't display them :-)

I've found the solution I can help for win2k users. Ericd

So either go to www.shodouka.com, or download a font that has them! --User:Juuitchan

No use, they're already on the win2k distribution disk. Ericd

P.S. Takkun, I think Japanese kanji look weird, but once you learn radicals, they are not hard to write. As for kana, I think they are cute characters. I think that Japanese is maybe the cutest language I have ever heard. --User:Juuitchan

I know it is a kind of funny for me that some people think Japanese characters cute, thought it is compliment. Anyway www.shodouka.com doesn't work unpleasntly. Try http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yoshinoya, I've got a Chinese character for dragon. -- Taku
