The following is a comprehensive discography of Le Tigre, an American electro-punk band. Le Tigre have released a total of three full-length albums and six EPs, as well as four singles on various record labels.
Le Tigre was formed in 1998 by Kathleen Hanna, Johanna Fateman and Sadie Benning.[1] The band's self-titled debut album was released in October 1999. In 2000, Benning left the group to pursue her career as a film director.[1] She was replaced by JD Samson on Le Tigre's second album Feminist Sweepstakes. Released in October 2001, the album featured highly political lyrics and reached number forty-three on the United States Billboard Independent Albums chart.[2] After being signed to Universal Records, Le Tigre released their major label debut, This Island, in October 2004. The album produced three singles and reached number one hundred and thirty on the Billboard 200.[2] In 2007, the band announced that it was taking "an extended break from all things Le Tigre".[3]
