Le Tholonet is a commune in the Bouches-du-Rhône département in southern France. It is close to Aix-en-Provence and the Montagne Sainte-Victoire.

  • Paul Cézanne liked to go to a restaurant in Le Tholonet, where he would order duck with olives, or daube. He also rented two rooms in the Château Noir (the black castle).[1]
