Le Tallud is a village and commune in the Poitou-Charentes région of France. It is situated on the River Thouet some 5km west of the town of Parthenay.
Le Tallud is within the département of Deux-Sèvres, the arrondissement of Parthenay, and the canton of Parthenay. The commune of Le Tallud has joined together with five neighbouring communes to establish the communauté de communes of Parthenay which provides a framework within which local tasks are carried out together.[1][2]
