Lê Hồng Anh (November 12, 1949 - ) is the Minister of Public Security of Vietnam. He was conferred general by the President of Vietnam on January 9, 2005. He currently holds the number two slot in the Politburo, Vietnam's chief policy-setting body.[1]
Lê Hồng Anh is also called Út Anh, was born in Vĩnh Bình Bắc Commune, Vĩnh Thuận County, Kiên Giang Province. He graduated from Law and gained a bachelor of law and bachelor of politics. He joined Communist Party of Vietnam on March 2, 1969.
