Template talk:LDSproject

I like this template; it will save a lot of corrections. More importantly it should help new editors undrstand the numerous terms commonly used on WIKI and in academia, but may be unfamiliar to others. Good work and thank you. Storm Rider (talk) 23:54, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

I believe a better image should be used that more accurately reflects the entire Latter Day Saint movement - this image is post 1838, and therefore has narrower implications than the entire movement (1838 is likely the first date of an offshoot church from Smith's main following). Any suggestions? An image of Smith seems too narrow as well. And the Book of Mormon/gold plates is not reflective anymore. Thoughts? Would an image of the Kirtland temple be recognizable? What about a hypocephalus? What is a good symbol of the movement? -Visorstuff 00:26, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
Also, should there be a smaller template for articles that discuss the beliefs of any of the Latter Day Saint movement (like christianity, or hell, or priesthood) that say that the article references a topic included in the WikiProject latter day saint movement? -Visorstuff 05:35, 22 June 2006 (UTC)
I think the best image to represent the entire Latter Day Saint movement is an image of the First Vision. This represents the defining moment in the movment. The First Vision stained glass window is nice. 74s181 00:59, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Creation of a Comments sub-page?

Why does this template prompt the creation of a comments subpage when an article has been assessed? Shouldn't this point to a new section on the talk page instead? --Descartes1979 (talk) 19:14, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
