This template's sub-pages contain data shared between many pages relating to temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

These pages include:

• List of temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
• Comparison of temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
• List of temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by geographic region (this geographic list is still under development, and does not use these data pages yet)

In addition, individual articles exist for each temple. The data on these sub-pages is used to create the info box. Substituting the infobox templates would be inappropriate because the data on these pages is shared - changing it here updates the infoboxes and all of the lists too.
