[edit] License tagging for Image:KG320 F010.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:KG320 F010.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 23:12, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] eyes wide shut

You used {{LG phones}} - did you actually read it? You created six copies of your article about the LG MG320 - none of them following the existing naming convention! Please read this moan. -- RHaworth 19:15, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

For goodness, sake read these messages. After I written the above, you created LG Dark Horse under several different titles. What am I to do with you? -- RHaworth 02:01, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Duplicate images uploaded

Thanks for uploading Image:LGSHINE999999.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:LGShine.jpg. The copy called Image:LGShine.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and remember exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 22:32, 30 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image:KG280_MG280_B_06.jpg listed for deletion

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as Image:KG280_MG280_B_06.jpg has been listed for speedy deletion because you selected a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, this is in fact not the case[1][2]. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial. See our non-free content guidelines for more more information.

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. RHaworth 01:52, 1 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Please use redirects instead of creating multiple articles

Hi. I noticed you have been creating the same article under multiple different titles (eg. Lg Shine Bar, LG Shine Bar, Lg shinebar). On Wikipedia, it is convention to have redirects for various possible article titles all pointing to a single article on the subject, otherwise it becomes impossible to maintain the various versions of the articles under different titles. With redirects, everyone gets pointed to a single article and only that article needs to be edited. Thank you. ~Matticus TC 13:39, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
