Lazy Days is the largest dealer of recreational vehicles (RVs) in the United States[citation needed].
[edit] Magazine
RVLiving was a lifestyle magazine published six times a year by Rodale Press Custom Publishing. It was published for Lazy Days and was distributed to Lazy Days customers, Rodale customers who owned an RV, and other RV enthusiasts throughout the United States. The premiere issue was published in May/June of 2005 and the magazine enjoyed a circulation of approximately 150,000.
Trailer Life and MotorHome Magazine are a few notable competitors.
Each issue features a lavish interior photo shoot highlighting a new RV on the market, as well as product and gadget pages that spotlight handy and quirky new items perfect for RVers. The premiere issue won the Silver Award for Best Overall Design at the 2005 Pearl Awards (affectionately known as "the Oscars of custom publishing"[citation needed]).
Despite winning twelve 2006 Magnum Opus custom publishing awards, RVLiving was discontinued in September 2006. Reaction was bittersweet and the staff splintered, with most moving on to other magazine publishing roles.
