Steven Howse (born September 23, 1975), better known as Layzie Bone, is an American rapper. He is a member of the rap group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.
Howse was born in Cleveland, Ohio, where he grew up. He was apprehended selling drugs and was given the option of either being sent to jail or to Fort Worth, Texas with his uncle and aunt. He went to Fort Worth and met "Wish Bone"(not the current Bone member), who taught him the "Bone Theme". When he returned to Cleveland he told Krayzie Bone, Bizzy Bone, and Wish Bone about the concept.[citation needed] The four went on to form B.O.N.E. Enterpri$e, which later became Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.
Howse is the brother of Flesh-n-Bone, the cousin of Wish Bone. He is currently married to Mo Thugs member Felecia Lindsey-Howse. Layzie Bone makes reference to Angel on some songs, like "Family Tree" and Mind of a Souljah from Bone Thugs album The Art of War.He has 2 Sons from his first marriage and is the step-father to Felecia's {of Mo Thugs} 5 kids. Felicia's kids are all girls and are known as the 5't cause all their names start with the letter T. Together they have one daughter.
