Her first movie was for Ben Dover entitled Ben Dover's Butt Bangers Bonanza on her 18th birthday.[2] After working for four months in the UK market (October 1998-Jan 1999) she found herself on her first trip to the USA after a call from the photographer John Mason, who was over in America on an assignment. Layla appeared alongside Pixie in the pornographic music video to Add N to X's single, "Plug Me In".
