Lay Lady Lay is a Bob Dylan song covered by Magnet and Gemma Hayes. It appeared on Magnet's second album On Your Side and was released as a single in the UK on March 22, 2004. The CD single features a remixed radio edit, as well as a remix of "Last Day Of Summer" plus a new B-side and the music video for "Lay Lady Lay." The 7" vinyl single features an edit of The Bees' remix of "Clean Slate."

Magnet and Gemma's cover of "Lay Lady Lay" featured in the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie film Mr. & Mrs. Smith. It also was in The O.C. in the episode The SnO.C.
