Problem: the NCBI database given as a reference does recognize Laxmanniaceae, but it does not include the most common species, Cordyline, as a member of that family. Rather, it continues to include Cordyline in Agavaceae. GRIN [[1]] does put Cordyline in Laxmanniaceae, but as far as I can see, no one else (that is, IPNI, GBIF, ITIS) does. Does anyone have an answer for this? NaySay 18:41, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
