Laxpower

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Laxpower is one of the leading online communities for high school and college lacrosse players and fans. Based in West Chester, PA, the site receives more than 20 million page views per month during the lacrosse season. Laxpower contains scores and statistics for collegiate and high school lacrosse teams in the United States and Canada. It uses computer ratings to avoid bias.[1]

The Active Network, Inc., based in San Diego, Calif., a leading provider of application services technology and marketing solutions for community service and participatory sports organizations acquired LaxPower.com in 2007. The purchase comes at a time when more than seven million students are participating in high school athletics each year and lacrosse is recognized as one of the fastest growing team sports in the United States, according to US Lacrosse.
