I am an employee of the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, a federal government agency that falls under the United States Department of Labor under the Executive Branch. I have worked at BLS for over seven years now, all with the Occupational Employment Statistics (OES) survey. I am a mathematical statistician, supporting staff for the economists of the program office in the OES survey.
I have contributed various studies towards the progress of the OES survey, namely, as the main author for the paper "Alternative Allocation Designs for a Highly Stratified Establishment Survey" (abstract here), which was presented at the 2007 Joint Statistical Meetings in Salt Lake City, UT. This paper was also the basis for my Master's Thesis at American University.
