I changed the last line about the missed field goal making Tynes instantly very disliked by all Kansas Citians, as the statement is inaccurate. Although I understand the frustration, pretending that the entire season came down to this one bad kick, not mentioning the bad snap, not even mentioning that all that would have gotten us was into overtime, and stating that the result was he is now hated by all Kansas Citians seemed a bit much. Or, how do you say, not "npov"? But yes... that missed kick really sucked.

How about more context on the miss? What season was it in? It says in this article that Lawrence Tynes is the first Scottish-born player in the NFL. Yet in an article on a footballer called Scott Couper, it says both that he was born in Glasgow and that he played for the Chicago Bears in 1997. As this makes Tynes the second Scottish-born player in the NFL, I have changed the article.

I don't think Scott Couper counts, because it wasn't a real NFL game. I guess that's open to interpretation, but what about the following players that were all born in Scotland: Art Matsu, Andrew Peterson, Ian Sunter, and Alex Waits? So I changed it to fifth Scottish-born player.

The stuff about the "longest ever kickoff at that stadium in the post-season" is trivia that's not notable and should not be included. Please leave it out. Reyemile (talk) 17:16, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

On the other hand, the longest postseason field goal in Lambeau Field history was notable and should not have been deleted at all. Jrshooter (talk) 17:41, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

  • I disagree; it's a post-season only record, it's not a league record, it's not a record on his home team's field. If it IS notable, which I doubt, it's notable under Lambeau Field (which should be linked), not here. Reyemile (talk) 19:10, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
