Lawrie Dring

Lawrie Dring is a British Scouter. He is one of the founding members of the World Federation of Independent Scouts and President of the Baden-Powell Scouts.

Lawrie Dring was in the army when a colleague asked him to join Scouting in the 1940s. He started as a leader in Cub Scouts. He started as a Scouter in 1947 in Wuppertal, Germany. He is a member and a Scouter of 1st Yorkshire Baden-Powell Scouts Troop. He has visited the Canada, the United States, Germany and South Africa.
