Lawrence Prittipaul

Lawrence Prittipaul (born October 19, 1979) is an English cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler.

The former England under-17 international graduated to the Hampshire first team as a batsman and seam-bowler.

On his debut in 2000 he scored 152 in Derbyshire, breaking the record for a Hampshire player on his Championship debut. He was released at the end of the 2005 season. His release was not a surprise as his form was not good enough for a county player.

Since being released, Prittipaul coaches youth cricket in Portsmouth and league cricket for Havant Cricket Club.

Prittipaul is an English-born cousin of West Indian Batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaul [1]
