Lawrence County High School (Mississippi)

Lawrence County High School is a public high school located in Monticello, Mississippi (USA). It is part of the Lawrence County School District and serves students in grades 9-12. The school's mascot is the Cougar. The current principle is Darryl Scoggin. There are two assistant principals: Tarvy Ward and Dr. Leonard King. Currently, around 700 students attend this school.

Construction began in fall of 2006 on a science building on the west side of the campus. The floor-plan was printed in the Lawrence County Press later that year. It will consist of two separate science labs as well as three classrooms. Estimates predict that it should be finished for the 2007-2008 school year.omg mo fo
