Lawndale High School is one of four high schools in Lawndale, California .
Lawndale High is part of the Centinela Valley Union High School District.

- Lawndale High and its' Alumni Association annually host an August reunion picnic at the school.
- Ricardo Lemvo, leader of Congo's premier Afro/Latin Soukous (African rumba) band, "Makina Loca",
immigrated from Zaire at 15 to attend LHS where he graduated in 1974.
