LAWDC

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A LAWDC is an acronym for a local authority waste disposal company [1] These companies were created in the UK as arms length waste management operators when the waste management industry was privatised. Some of these companies have now been sold on to larger commercial waste companies and some are still owned by local authorities.
