Laverton North Power Station is a power station in Laverton, on the outskirts of Melbourne, Victoria. It is natural gas-powered with two gas turbines that together generate a total capacity of 320 MW of electricity. Although the power station primarily burns natural gas, it can also burn diesel fuel.
Snowy Hydro contracted Siemens to complete EPC for the project. The station was commissioned in December 2006.
