Lavender Peak is a peak in the La Plata Mountains, a small subrange of the San Juan Mountains, which in turn are a subrange of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, United States. It lies 0.4 miles (0.6 km) southeast of the more well-known Hesperus Mountain.
While Hesperus Mountain is usually cited as the high point of the La Plata Mountains, recent measurements indicate that Lavender may be slightly higher.[1] If so, then its prominence is the larger value indicated in the infobox; if not, its prominence is the smaller value.
