English: Lavinia Warren ( 1841 - 1919) was an American dwarf and the wife of General Tom Thumb. She was born at Middleborough, a descendant of a French family named Bonpasse. Under the management of showman P. T. Barnum her name was changed from Mercy Lavinia Bumpus.
