Thanks for the message. I did put a small comment in the "edit summary" field: the reason I've deleted the Symbolism section is that it contains very doubtful statements like "the white, for purity and peace" or "the red, for the bloodshed that must be lost in honor of their own country" - which is obvious vandalism. Check for example this page for the official history of the french flag:
You'll notice that it doesn't mention any of the information on Wikipedia.
That's why I suggest to remove this Symbolism section until somebody rewrite it. I would if my english was better. IMO no information at all is better than disinformation.
