[edit] Re: Lucky Star (manga)
When the anime ends airing on tv, that would then have to be removed, so I see no reason to include something that will eventually be deleted. Plus, I could just do the math and find out when episode 24 airs, and include that into the last aired section of the infobox, and then the 24 wouldn't be "ambiguous" like you say (though I disagree with you there), but then that will come in time anyway. The point is that it's uneeded content that, in my opinion, makes it look like the 24 isn't meant to be definite when it most certainly is (I have confirmed information that there will be only 24 episodes). Not to mention that including information like that is uneccesary because that type of information tends to become "dated". Examples of this would be like including words like "recently; currently; lately" or the such. Information on Wikipedia is meant to be timeless, so adding in more information just because the anime is currently airing is frivolous.--十八 12:01, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: not much
The vast majority of anime I download. In effect, I own very little anime DVDs, and only really buy DVDs for series that I especially love, even if I already have them downloaded before hand.--十八 02:18, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks
Thanks for telling me about that. I'm pretty sure I fixed the problem. Did I?--十八 19:12, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] WAIT
You and User:ChuChu have been engaged in an edit war and are both violating the Three revert rule. Please stop editing either W Wish or Final Approach (visual novel) and try to resolve your dispute by going to WP:RFC or WP:AC, thank you.--十八 19:48, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
- I have suggested to you and ChuChu to not edit those articles anymore until the dispute has been resolved. I don't want to get either of you banned for a time at WP:RRR since I know both of you are good faith editors and I know you two make good contributions.--十八 19:59, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Rules
I'm not sure about one place to go, but WP:RULES is a good place to start off with. Most guidelines that I deal with when editing come from experience with other editors who give me links to such places. Such as with style guidelines such as: WP:SPOILER, WP:FICT, etc; then there's policy guidelines such as: WP:N, WP:V, WP:NFCC. There is the category Category:Wikipedia policies and guidelines which has everything else in there that you need to know your way around Wikipedia, though admitadly most of those you probably won't encounter. And also, there's many that you already know (or I assume you already know) like WP:NOR, WP:NPA, WP:NPOV, WP:OWN and what Wikipedia is not. You should try to assume good faith and stay away from a conflict of interest. There is also a list of guidelines that you may want to look at, and also WP:EQ.--十八 20:45, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Kaze no Stigma recent edits
Hello LLC! I'm new (and "unused") to Wiki, as well as totally unacquainted with tecniques and procedures. This is why I'd like to suggest you some improvements for the KnS page here rather than intervene directly. Here are the points I'm talking about:
The Shinji Clan (神凪一族, Shinji Ichizoku?)
- I'm afraid there is no such clan in the anime: as you can see in the "Kannagi Family" section, 神凪 is simply the way to write Kannagi, with kun'yomi kami -> kan- instead of your on'yomi shin. Actually this is also an etimology ("god-subduer") for noun kannagi, written 巫 and meaning "shrine maiden, medium or sorcerer".
Wind Teeth People (風牙衆, Fūkiba Shū?)
- The proununciation given in the anime is Fūga Shū, this time with "on" が instead of "kun" きば. The translation used by fansubbers is "Wind Fang Clan", for the record - since my mother language is neither Japanese nor English I'll take no stance in this.
Speaking of which, I apologize for my English as well as for whatever mistake I may have made in my weekend Japanese reasonings... Last one: Honō Kaminari Ha (炎雷覇, Honō Kaminari Ha?)
- Same as above. 雷 is read à-la-chinoise [らい] in this author-devised compound: Enraiha, the name of Ayano's magic sword, mentioned in her entry of the article. Please don't take my word for all this: pronounciation in kana of all relevant - and more or less unpredictable - kanji names are given in the Japanese Wiki article.
I'll drop in from time to time to see your comments/objections, and, should you agree with this, I'm counting on you in order for these corrections to be added to the article. I know this is lazy of me, but I'm not really either free nor confident enough to become an editor for now... Thanks for your patience, and keep up the good work! texandrea - male - 31 y.o. - Italy —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.66.231.253 (talk) 14:38, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
- I do not have much knowledge of japanese Kanji reading and thus I cannot approve or oppose to your ansers. Please fix anything that you assume is wrong.--殺人事件 | talk 15:27, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks a lot!
As for learning Japanese... same here! (I've just been toying with online dictionaries so far...) I'll get my heavy buttocks moving about Wiki too. (Hmm... does this feel right? I just mean "I'll create an account and start making my changes myself." Not really sure... I guess something must be done for my English as well) Thanks again! Read you soon, Tex
P.S.: should've pm'd you here instead of making that mess in the talkpage, shouldn't I? ^^' —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.66.231.253 (talk) 16:12, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
