[edit] Expanding the article

As one of the contributors of the German article I will expand and assess the English article soon. --Hans555 07:41, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

Actually,I started work on May 14, 2007 and are looking forward to reading coments here or on my talk page. Hans555 talk-- 17:38, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
Finished! Now I'll remove the Inuse Template and will be waiting for responses. Is it correct to assess one's own contributions?? . Hans555 talk

Unfortunately the article does not use or cite any reliable sources; the German Wikipedia article is not sufficient to show the verifiability of the content. Kusma (talk) 08:49, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] What should be made verifiable by citations

It would be good if you could give references (cite a book etc.) for at least the numbers (population stuff should be attributable to the Statistisches Bundesamt or some Statistisches Landesamt). If you own the books you mention in the references section, it should be easy to find a chapter in them that mentions that Lauterbach was a Habsburg possession. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for some ideas and Wikipedia:Footnotes for a nice way to get citations as references. For example, you could say "Lauterbach has an area of 19.95 km2"[1] or simply "Lauterbach has a population of 3157 (2005) [1]".

Other points might need a citation to fulfil the criteria of Wikipedia:What is a good article?, but probably the major points should be clearly referenced and cited for our B-Class assessment (this, however, is something I'm trying to discuss at the project talkj page).

Hope that helps, Kusma (talk) 11:35, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

What if the statistics on the web are older than the information retrieved from the Rathaus? --Hans555 08:27, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Article name

Apparently the naming conventions say this article should be at Lauterbach, Baden-Württemberg. Are there any objections to this? Kusma (talk) 11:37, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

How is an article changed to a different page title and who does it? I found "my" Lauterbach twice on the English Wikipedia Lauterbach (Rottweil) and as it is at the moment. There is no objection to following the convention. --Hans555 12:41, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
I moved it. The instructions are at our (terribly bad) help page Help:Moving a page (siehe auch die deutsche Version de:Hilfe:Artikel verschieben). Kusma (talk) 13:19, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
