[edit] To upgrade article

There are a range of Wikipedia sources that can help you out. All articles must meet WP:V. To learn how to a proper citing style, consult WP:CITE. For what kind of external links are acceptable, WP:EL is a useful set of guidelines. Good luck! GBYork 18:04, 24 August 2006 (UTC) This user was found to be a sock of Mattisse

[edit] Verifiability

According to WP:V, autobiographical sources may be used in an article about the subject. Verifiability does not mean that one has to research the subject to prove that what they say about themselves is true. Facts can be used, but not statements about how popular they are or such subjective matters. Please do not keep tagging this page with a general verifiability tag, it is not appropriate. If you find a statement not in the references, then tag with {{citation needed}}. Thanks. Ekajati 20:08, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

Sorry, I hadn't seen the reference; it wasn't there when I initially came to the page a week ago and I didn't realize substantial changes had been made. I was just trying to switch it back to how it was before I tagged it as noncompliant ("All-star troublemaker, bon vivant, world traveler, antinomian Sufi Sheikh, musician, composer, and Master Mason, he forsakes the sun for the stars.").--Nonpareility 20:27, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

Did it really say that? *laughs* Ekajati 20:32, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
