Talk:Laura Vicuña
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] NPOV -- actually unreferenced
This article is far too hagiographic. How are phrases like "Even when very young, Laura was mature enough to understand her mother's problems, which included Mercedes' distance from God." and "With that, Laura gave her life for the salvation of her mother." possibily neutral, enciclopedic or verifiable? - These are verifiable in the sense that it is what hagiography/biography state. It is worthy of being included in this encyclopedia because out a billion Catholics, she has been declared "blessed". For neutrality, I think you would have to uncover a verifiable source to state the biography given here misstates the facts as they are known, or that there is fraud it in presentation. The absence of such a "negative" or neutralizing source doesn't create a neutrality dispute. But we're not even at that point yet. Assuming good faith and the article is not entirely a work of fiction, the correct cleanup tag is {{unreferenced}} and has been added. I will look to the earlier editors to come back here and document the sources. patsw (talk) 21:54, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
