Laurie Pace

Laurie Pace (born 1966-02-09) is a former judoka from Malta, who competed for her native country at three consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1992. Her best performance was winning the bronze medal at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in New Zealand — the only medal ever won by a Maltese native in the Commonwealth Games.

A competitor in the women's 57 weight division, Pace also took part in the Commonwealth Games, three World Championships, four European Championships and four editions of the Small Nations Games. She qualified for the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia thanks to one of the wildcards which were distributed world-wide.
