Laurie Hibberd

Laurie Hibberd, also known as Laurie Gelman (born April 4, 1964 in Canada) is a television personality and entertainment news reporter. She is married to Michael Gelman and is the mother of two children. She currently (2007) works on two Canadian based talk shows, The Mom Show and Doctor in the House
She has appeared on the CBS morning news, ABC's Good Morning America and Good Morning America Sunday. Before that, Hibberd co-hosted the FX cable network's original morning show, "Breakfast Time" along with Tom Bergeron from 1994-96. Hibberd was an entertainment reporter for WSVN-TV in Miami from 1992-94. She began her broadcasting career as a traffic reporter, news writer, entertainment reporter and host in Toronto from 1987-92.
Hibberd was graduated from Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1988 with a bachelor's degree in journalism. She was raised as a Roman Catholic but converted to Judaism before marriage.
