Laurent Gaudé

Laurent Gaudé (born July 6, 1972) is a French writer.
He studied theater and has written many dramatic works, among them Onysos le furieux, Cendres sur les mains, Médée Khali, and Le Tigre bleu de l'Euphrate.
In 2002 he was shortlisted for the Prix Goncourt for La Mort du roi Tsongor. Two years later, he won the prize for his novel Le Soleil des Scorta.
